Abstrakt
Obecnie w naukach ekonomicznych uważa się, że w związku z globalną polityką środowiskową i energetyczną globalne korporacje powinny podejmować takie działania, żeby realizować cele zrównoważonego rozwoju. W artykule dokonano przeglądu literatury oraz analizy empirycznej w temacie zrównoważonego rozwoju w przemyśle ropy naftowej i gazu ziemnego. Przeprowadzone studia przypadków oraz analiza statystyczna pozwoliły na skonstruowanie autorskiego indeksu zrównoważonego rozwoju dla branży offshore. W badaniu użyto danych praktycznych pobranych z rocznych raportów przedsiębiorstwa. Analiza dotyczyła przedziału czasowego od 2018 do 2022 roku. Wyniki badań potwierdziły, że analizowane przedsiębiorstwo jest na etapie wdrażania nowych technologii, aby ostatecznie osiągnąć wyznaczone cele zrównoważonego rozwoju do roku 2050
